An Open RP Post!
There are prompts below. Pictures. Music Videos. Quotes. I lied, none of those made it on here for now. If none of those work for you, please feel free to start your own! This is the chattiest Charlie has been in a while, and I've missed playing my feral pyrokinetic teenager.
charlie has adopted ellie this is her sister she will set the world on fire to keep her safe.
Those were Charlie's second goals, the first being, as always...survive.
It wasn't that things were getting desperate for her and Ellie. Things always seemed to border on desperate for the pair, but for two kids who only had each other? They did okay. Ellie was a good hunter, and Charlie was good at scavenging, so they did pretty well.
Just today wasn't one of their good days. There'd been a reason the clinic had been untouched, and that was the merry band of Infected in the basement. Mostly Stalkers. A couple Clickers were left behind, burnt to nothing by Charlie's ability. And all it took to start this undead riot was a misstep, Charlie's leg sinking through a rotted part of the floor and dropping the first aid kit she'd found. She just barely managed to get her leg out, grab the kit and her backpack of various food items and get out the door, setting fire to a couple Clickers before she made it off the street.
The run through the woods wasn't long but it sure damn felt like it with the noise and howls behind her.
Why did they have to make so much noise? Was it their dinner bell? It felt like a dinner bell and Charlie wasn't looking to be on the menu.
She trusted Ellie's shots, but the first one still made her flinch some as she continued her run, turning and spinning and whipping the first aid kit hard enough to cave something's skull in before continuing on. She just needed distance.
There wasn't many of them, but it didn't matter. It only took one to ruin everything.
A couple more shots ring out and Charlie makes it through the gate, slamming it shut behind her and looking as the last couple Infected fall. She waits, watches the treeline and listens and then sighs.
Nothing. Not even her danger sense is going of. She's fine and she made it.
Locking the gate with the thick chain they'd found, Charlie turns and heads inside and seeks Ellie out.
"So...good news? Kind of? I found three different kinds of pie filling, six cans of spam and four things without labels. And a full first aid kit. And some clothes for the summer months. There were two t-shirts with giant middle fingers on the front, and that felt really on brand."
